Behind every song there is a story. This rings true when David Miller picks up his guitar and reflects on the world around him and the stories that emerge. The Way the Road Looks tells these stories through the wonderful production and playing of Chris Brown and a stellar cast of friends of Wolfe Island Records – Jason Mercer, Joey Wright, Teilhard Frost, and Sarah McDermott.

David has been involved in the songwriting scene in Ottawa for many years going back to the days of the original Rasputin's Folk Club on Bronson Street. Between hosting the open stage and weekend shows, David also ran the Ottawa Writers Bloc songwriting collective and the Ottawa Great Canadian Songalong for several years around that time. After an extended hiatus for family and career commitments, David is back to songwriting and performing and The Way the Road Looks is his first studio album, presenting songs old and new.
