The very first Official Music Video in the history of the Universe to be created by artificial intelligence! (Okay, maybe, maybe not…)

GTA Rhythm Section is a collective of seasoned Toronto musicians, reminiscent of renowned ensembles like The Wrecking Crew and The Funk Brothers. In February 2024, they convened at the iconic Orange Lounge studio to record “The Orange Sessions,” a project initiated by veteran songwriter and producer Stephen Stohn. The EP features the nine-minute “Opus 42 — Ode to Summer,” inspired by melodies from Stohn’s dreams, with lead vocals by Matthew Jardine, son of Beach Boys’ Al Jardine. Additional tracks include “Falling All Over Again” and “Once in a Longtime,” both showcasing the vocal talents of Toronto artist Will Bowes. The project was further enriched by orchestrator Jim McGrath’s string and horn arrangements and mixed by Scott Harding in Brooklyn. Released in December 2024, “The Orange Sessions” is available on major streaming platforms.
